-started happening a few days ago (i've had the phone just over a year now)
-never had a problem before this
-does anyone know how to fix this problem without losing my data on the phone such as ringtones, pictures, etc.
-someone suggested flex/flash it but i dont really know what that is and like i said i dont want to lose data, so if that will do the trick please let me know.
-i have insurance on the phone so cingular will replace it for $50 if it comes to that but im really hoping to resolve the issues myself because i dont want to pay $50 for a new phone and lose the $25 in ringtones plus other data that i have on this phone.
-please help!! =]

I've had it freeze up and act up every so often. Mine's probably a year old too. Usually if I shut it off and restart it, it's fine. One time I had to pull that battery out and put it back in. Then restart it. Try that. If not, you'll have to take it in and see what they say. Hope you don't need a new one. That would suck. I have the feeling these phones aren't the most durable things in the world.
