When babys dream, do we have any idea what they dream about?

I have been wondering the same exact thing!! I have a one month old son and when he sleeps, he sometimes smiles or frowns. I have no idea what he's thinking but would love to know. My sister thinks he dreaming about being the womb, or mommy's heartbeat, or mommy and daddy's voices. My guess is that since he's so little, he's obviously not dreaming about violent movies or anything like that because he hasn't experienced that yet. So maybe he's dreaming about when Grandma or Grandpa were holding him last week or maybe about the surroundings at the restaurant that Mommy and Daddy took him to last week. I hope this helps answer your question. I'm glad there is someone else out there that is thinking about this as well!

Good Luck on finding the answer you're looking for!

Well, you can see the reaction of the baby's face. If it is a smile, then, the baby may have dreamed of satisfaction of full meal.
If the baby is frowning, that means the baby is having some sort of problem in his/her daily life. Probably not enough love, attention or food.

Of course, this is only spectulation. We can't even understatn when a baby talks, to understand his/her dream is harder

I dreamed of the tv shows and mommy. He was calling out mama when he was little, it broke my heart, I thought it was about separation anxiety....yet then I twisted it to believe it was he was happy to see me.
