If you just purchased the bearded dragon, he is more then likely suffering from what is commonly caused Relocation Stress. It's not unusual for them to eat very little during this time. Most dragons get over relocation stress within 1-2 weeks. Keep handling and human contact down til he settles in.

The jist of relocation stress is the little guy is freaked out from moving from a known enviorment to a completely new unknown enviorment. Try to keep his stress to a minimum, make sure his basking temps (surface temp of basking area) are 110ish, ambient temps (air temps) should be 80-85 on the warm side and 75ish on the cool side. Keep offering him pinhead crickets (no bigger then the space between his eyes), three times a day even if he is refusing them. In a week or two he should be over the relocation stress and eatin like a pig (upwards of 50-100 pinheads a day!!).

BD's make awesome pets, and with proper husbandry, and care, they are like scaley dogs.

His tank may be a little on the hot side the temp can drop to 65F at night. He might just not feel like eating when he's shedding. Bathe the eye with cotton wool soaked in luke warm water. If its not better in a couple of days I'd find a reptile vet and take him along just to check the eye is ok and not infected or anything. Good luck!

turn down the heat a little, make sure he has a nice cool dark place to hide, hes just feeling a little stressed. As long as he has plenty of fresh drinking water and plenty of live food (make sure they are not to small for him to catch if you are feeding him crickets) but they really dont eat that much as babies so dont worry, he should be ok in a few days.

I would leave him alone. My bearded dragon (full grown) only eats about once a week. He pretty much sleeps all day (sometimes with one eye open). He's in a semi hibernation it seems. They really aren't all that active. I'd say clean his tank, then leave him be.
