Pupils getting bigger have nothing to do with liking someone. They get bigger and smaller because of how much light there is in a room.

No. The pupil will get bigger if the person is experiencing an endorphin rush. This sometimes happens if a person has a pleasurable physical reaction to you, but is a rare indicator of mood, and could just as easily be a result of having just been looking at something brighter, or having recently refocused their eyes on something less bright.
The tightening of the pupils is a better indicator of mood, as it represents an increase in stress level, as of a person who is being questioned about something they are nervous about. The gradual widening of the pupil during the course of the interview can suggest that the person is no longer worried about the direction of the interview

Its not always the light, i was looking in the mirror the other day and i noticed that the more i concentrated on part of my face the smaller my pupils got. x
try it, look directly into your pupils and they should shrink! x

There's some truth to this, but other things affect the size of your pupils as well (light, etc.). You probably wouldn't be able to tell, though, because people's eyes dilate at different rates and to different extents.

Greeneyed got it about right. However, drugs effect the pupils too which may also affect any likeability factor!

Thats what my science teacher said.... they want to allow more light into their eyes to see you so there pupils open
However it could be because they think your a freek and their staring at you lol...

well i have noticed when something frightning happens like they fall over or something i see thier pupils as big as ever.
