I agree with Fonzie, the late 80's and early 90's was a musical low point. It picked up about 1992 though. Metallicas black album, GNRs Illusion albums, Soundgarden Badmotorfinger, and of course Nirvana Nevermind.

Man, IMO that was one of the true low points in pop music. (eg: New Kids on the Block, Color Me Badd, Milli Vanilli, Debbie Gibson, etc )
