I personally found them very boring. This holds more truth in the fact that my wife had to constantly wake me up. Forest Whitaker finally got an Oscar that is long overdue.

They were okay,it seems to be losing the glamor and class it once had. Looks like any body can win an Oscar,Stars work for years to acchieve the goal to do a great job,and then some inexsperienced person comes along and wins with such little effort?? It's puzzeling to me.Whitikker truly deserved his award he is a great actor, also Scorsese also was a deserving person,The rest was oh hum!!

I enjoyed it and liked Ellen's easy going attitude toward hosting--never felt threatened by what she was going to say. And I could live with all of the winners (at least the actors whom I knew about--don't know about all of those technical awards!) I am glad Little Miss Sunshine won for script, even though I would like to have heard a Sacha Baron Cohen acceptance speech to liven up the proceedings. But I certainly could have done without all of those endless tribute compilations,( ie Movies that tell about the US, the one featuring writers in movies, etc. ) I didn't even understand what was going on in some of that. And even though things like the singing gospel choir and the sound effects group were good, I did not understand what some of them were doing at the Oscars. (MO) So there it is--what I thought about the Oscars last night!

I really enjoyed the oscars. I think that ellen degeneres is a ver funny lady and she should be allowed to host alot of these boring award shows. She just keep you entertained with her jokes, and she knows how to make fun of people without causing conflict. The presentations and the performers were awesome, J. hudson and Beyonce and the girl who played Lorell did there thing and dancers behind the scene were good. love it!

I found it boring and only watched about 20 minutes of it. I like Ellen but I would love it if she changed her look for once - the pants and tennis shoes are so predictable. I would love to see her in an actual dress, looking classy for a classy event.

i turned back and forth because parts of it was sooo boring. I liked Ellen overall and I thought that Jennifer Hudson's boob was going to fall out of her red dress when she was performing. I still luv her though.
