my daughter recently bought Touch of Sun by Olay, she tried it on her legs first,,, it worked fine, now we are both trying it on our faces, so far so good, its not streaky, and it gives gradual color , we are using the facial moisturizer one, on both our face, and legs

That depends if you are planning to lay in a tanning bed any lotion you use with virgin hemp (THC free) will help you get dark fast if you are new to the tanning bed for the first time only tan for 5-8 minutes and gradually progress. Once you get a "starter" tan quit using the lotions but make sure you use moisturizer EVERYDAY so your skin won't start looking old and ashy. If youare just planning on using the sun...I recommend any of the Hawiian Tropics tanning oils.
I use both of these methods....although living in the North I rely on tanning beds until mid- April....Oh and try to steer clear of "bronzing" lotions you will streak and look orange!

I use Loreal Sublime Bronzer. It goes on even and natural, not orange at all. Just put petroleum jelly on your nails and palms. I wash my hands a few times throughout the tan and reapply the jelly, then I have my husband do my back, the lower part of my arm and hands. Because I obvioulsy cant wash my hands with tan stuff on it. He does the lower part of my arms becuse if they get wet while washing it will streak. Then I stand in front of a high powered fan for 1/2 hour. Dont shower for two hours.

The sun works best, but we all know too much is bad for us. Your question isn't specific enough. Are you talking about bronzers or make-up? Or do you mean alternatives like self-tanners or spray-ons? Or possibly tanning beds? Help us out here.

The sun obviously but it is not healthy to sit and fry your skin.
Try Johnson's holiday skin, its a moisturising lotion that tans your skin without damaging it.

It fantastic...........
