I would use toothpaste I know it sounds odd,but it works, use an old toothbrush, apply toothpaste, gently scrub the chain, then rinse under cold water, then dry in a towel,it'll look brand new.also good on all silver/gold jewellery.

Clean jewelry like you do silverware. You can get a silver cleaning cloth at any jeweler. Or you can get a little container or silver cleaner, or you can get good old fashioned silver polish at the food store and rub it on, and then wash it. Shine is right back, good as new.

You could use coca cola but then you will have to wash it in warm soapy water to get rid of the stickiness from the cola,
On the other hand you could use silver polish to clean the chain.

I swear by Hagerty silver dip. In this long container comes a colander so that you can put your chain in for a few seconds and when you pull it out every knuk and cranny is clean.

try baking soda paste (mix baking soda with a little water) or toothpaste. rub it in using old soft toothbrush and rinse.

but if you wanna be truly bling, ditch the silver and go for gold. a gold tooth would look good too....
