The engine is a 4.6 Northstar, and in the Owner's Manual says "GM Specification 1825-M".

it probably requires dexcool which is the orange stuff.

Any of the current antifreeze coolants will work.>BUT DO NOT MIX THEM, particularly standard life coolants and long life. Although rare, the mixing can turn the coolant into a Gell.
Flush the system and use a 50% mix. Not more or cooling capacity drops.

Use a coolant that is universal and works in all cooling systems. Ask the guy or girl at the counter at Autozone or Advanced Auto or one of those places. They are very familiar with this dilemma.

If you can't tell if it's orange or green by looking at it, somebody's probably already mixed the two and you should get it flushed and replaced with the right stuff, which is the old green type. Dexcool wasn't recomended for that engine.

any color is fine they all coolants work the same

the most common is the neon green but you can also your the purple and red
