I know, to most, this sounds rather morbid and 'unholy' but in my religion - English heathenism, it would have been common practice at one point and I like the ideas behind it and I've given it a lot of thought. I would love for my family to keep my skull after I die, yes I've discussed it with them and they agree for the same religious reasons.
So I would like to know the law regarding this. sensible answers only please (I should be so lucky!)

English heathenism IS fascinating! its actually called anglo-saxon heathenism or just saxon heathenism. I thought more people would identify with the word English. its very close to the Norse religions.
Good answers so far thnk you!

I'm not expecting to die before my parents, one parent has already gone! I have spoken to my husband about it, and when my children can understand the reasons, I'll speak to them about it too.
