I am 20 weeks, 21 on Thurs, and I am feeling major kicks. So much so that my husband and a few friends have been able to feel her kick by placing their hands on my belly. Its not that I am concerened, but just suprised that I am feeling her so strongly. This is my second dd and with my first I wasn't able to feel her kick my hand until 7 mos or so pregnant. I have one concern and that she is going to be a very large baby although I measured right on time at my US. Is anyone else experiencing this or has and what was the outcome for the rest of your pregnancy and delivery?

This is my second and I began to feel movements around 16 or so weeks. By 20 weeks I could feel the baby moving very well, and so could others. With my first I didnt feel any movement until after my ultrasound and then they were few and far between. I would not worry, all you have to worry about is if the kicks slow down or go away entirely. Also if you are not gaining too much weight, and you are measuring right on I would say you must just have a strong little baby! Good Luck!

I am 24 weeks with my second child, and I too have felt my baby kicking a lot earlier than I did with my first. I can even see my belly moving at times because of the kicks. I have always heard this is quite normal if it is not your first pregnancy.

I dont think this is a sign of you having a larger baby at all. My first child was a little WILD one when I was pregnant. Her kicks were definetly hard ones, and she was only 5lbs 9oz, Full Term! Totally healthy baby, w/ no complications at all!

You have a little gymnast in there! (lol) It was the same way with my daughter, and she ended up weighing only 7 lbs 8 oz (good weight). With my son, I had a lot less movement and he ended up weighing 9 lbs 10 oz! I guess he didn't have enough room to move in.
