I know the gas constant (R) units are L*atm / °K*mol. But I don't know if the mol unit is in grame-mol or kilograme-mol.
I want to calculate "n" in PV =nRT, so what unit do I get? Because after that I have to calculate Molarity.

A 'MOL' comes from the molecular weight or mass of a molecule and can be expressed in any weight or mass unit you wish.

e.g. Water: H2O has a mol.wt of 18. This can be expressed as: -

18 ... g-mol; kg-mol; lb-mol, oz-mol ... any weight unit.

Mole IS the unit. In the ideal gas equation, the "n" stands for "number of moles of gas." The unit for n is just moles, not g/mol or k/mol.

If you are calculating molarity, the units are mol/L (moles per liter.)

mole is just mole. For example:

There are 32 g of O2 in one mole of O2

There are 1.016 g of H2 in one mole of H2

the "n" in the equation stands for moles....so you will get the unit mole when you rearrage the equation. Then you take n/L (mol/L) to find Molarity.

I'm not sure if I answered your question or not, but I hope I helped!

Atomic weights are always expressed in grams

ex H2O = 2+16 =18g by mole

a mole is just a number:

6.023 x 10E23

it has no units

One mole of an element or compound is its molecular weight in the unit grams

One mole of carbon has a mass of 12 grams.

You convert the weight of a gas into moles, then use in the ideal gas equation.
