My sister and I bought a house and live together. I now got married and my wife and sister are not getting a long at all and I can't move out until the house is sold. I tried to tell my wife to just ignore my sister's acts but she just keeps complaining and complaining about things that sometimes don't even make sense to me. I know my sister is a pain in the neck but I also believe my wife takes things to the maximum either if it's looks or words or whatever. I am stuck between my wife and my sister and I don't know what to do... I love my wife but she has turned my life into drama for the last six months...how can I explain to her that it's not a permenant thing and we'll be out ASAP... all I need from her is to hold on....

Tell your sister that if she cares about you to get along with your wife for your sake. Tell your wife the same about your sister. See if either one of them can put your well being ahead of their own. Good to know one way or the other what to expect in the future.

Rule number 1 two women Can NOT share the same household. It neither of thier faults, it just cannot be done.

Secondly she didnt make your life dramatic.... you did. You said I do, you married her. A married woman wants and need to run thier own household. By living with your sister you've ruined the 1 year wedding bliss.

You better get em out quick or they will never get along down the road.

Your loyalty is now to your wife.... say sorry to sis. You chose your wife and put yourself here.

Welp, you need to grow a backbone for one. You need to grab both of those two by the ear and lay down the law. You will not live in a house of stress and drama. Whatever their issues need to be put aside. As you say it's a temporary situation, so they should be able to be adults and co-habitate without all the drama.
If that doesn't settle it you will have to pick a side. Choose wisely.

In hind sight don't you wish you sold the house prior to getting married?

I would perhaps get a new realtor if your house has been on the market for 6 months and has not sold. You need to get a go-getter realtor and get that house sold before you go nuts with these two women driving you crazy!

Good luck!

There is nothing you can do to make them like each other.
All you can do is to move out or have your sis move out of the house. As long as they are living under one roof, you will never find peace at home. You must be wise handling this situation.
You are dealing with a family member and your other half.
Hum......Good luck!!

That's so hard I don't know what to tell you but hang in there, and make sure one of them don't kill each other. How about you get them together in a room and let them talk in out and if things get out of hand, You step in the conversations and calm them down.

Have a little group gathering over some dinner, you can make or order. Adults need to be patient with one another, especially relatives.
