I am so sorry. You need to stay strong and talk to someone, perferably an adult, who you can trust. When I was 15 I was drugged and raped by someone who was supposed to be my friend. I ended up in the hospital for awhile. Because of my rape I recieved a pap schmear and found out that I had cancer. As strange as this sounds, the rape may have saved my life. We were able to remove the cancer with two surgeries They told me I probably wouldn't be able to have children, but now at 21 years old I have a beautiful six month old daughter. You may not know what the reason is, but everything has a reason. Every horrible thing in the world leads to something good, even if we can't always see anything good that could possibly come from it. Stay strong, honey, and talk it out with someone.

I was 13 and raped as well and I am 32 years old and it still haunts me on occasion.
I don't know of the best way to get over it. Time I think is most important. Please try to keep in mind that not every man out there is like that.
Find someone to talk to--or just to hold you so you can feel safe. Not necessarily your friends either as they are young like you and won't really help. Try your mother or an aunt or even your dad if you feel comfortable talking to him about it.
Stay strong though. You will get over it with time.

Well there's no way really to get over a rape it's always going to be in the back of your mind no matter what.

I am a male who was raped at age 11 by a group of 3 males aged around 18. I was walking home one evening and one of them started commenting about me. I smarted off to them and they all grabbed me and forced me into a shed. And I was raped anally by all three of them. It took me all long time to get over it. Try seeing a rape counselor they may beable to help you get through this difficult time. It is terrible you had to go through that I wish you the best of luck.

you know what... i think thats 1 of the most traumatic things some1 could ever go through but after all it was 5 months ago... i think after a wile u wont think bout it everytime.. im 14 nd some1 tried 2 rape me and i was very scared but after a wile i guess that wears off but at the same time now im never alone and always go out with my frends... anyway who did u get raped by nd wat was his age??

there is no way to fully get over it. however, the best thing that you can do is to go and get some counseling. this way you can talk to someone who is trained in this type of background. they will be able to give you the resources that you need so you can deal with this the best way you can. hope things are going better for you now. hang in there, things will look up soon. good luck.

You probably will think about your rape and it won't go away. If you feel awful about it you can talk to someone.

Get the jerks a** put in jail. See a therapist. Know that is was NOT your fault. And learn to protect yourself and empower yourself so no one can even take anvantage of you again! Good luck to you!
