One that I am just starting to do is selling on eBay. Other than the money for a class at my local college, there are no large 'start-up' fees.
I have a lot of stuff at home - kids are all out of the nest and we added more when my Mother-in-Law passed away last year. My husband likes to do wood crafts too, so I am hoping to sell that too. To later continue selling, yard-sales, and thrift stores have good buys to later sell on eBay.
Am open for other ideas too.

It depends what your hobbies are. YOu could start a clothing designing business, or you could make jewelery, or have bake sales. You might want to ask friends if they are willing to help you brainstorm and then see what kind of things you all come up with. Don't ask people who will fool around a lot you want to ask people who's opinions you feel comfortable with. I hope everything works out great and your business gets up and running soon!!!! Best of LUck

eBay is a good option. You can work on your schedule and do as much as you need or want to. You can fit eBay in around other things in your life. I am an eBay Silver Level Powerseller and have sold 12,000 items on ebay. My monthly profit averages $3500. The more you work, the more you make.

This will help if you are new to selling on eBay-
