Is there a difference between an intrasquad game and a split-squad game? If there is can someone please explain? Thank you.

Intrasquad is when half of one team plays the other half of the same team. Split squad games, which they start playing a little further along in spring training, is when you split two different teams in half and each half squad plays against a half squad from the opposing team. Often There will be an A squad, with mostly guys that have a shot at making the big league team, and a B squad, which is mostly for the minor leaguers to get their innings and at bats in.

An intrasquad game is a game where you split your team up and play each other. Usually you split the talent level so as not to be top heavy on one side or the other. For instance you might put your starting infield and backup outfielders on one team and do the reverse on the other side. That way you keep your team playing with each other and help build continuity between your players. Also sometimes you play a split squad game where you split your team into two different teams and play against two other teams.

Intrasquad games are where you play against your own team in a scrimmage. The teams should be even as if it was in an actual game

My fav team, as everyone already knows are the Avs. They start the preseason September 17, against the Coyotes. We have the annual burgundy/white game on September 16, but that's intrasquad. ~ You should ask some more "who am I" questions, I'm bored, make them hard.

Intra squad is when the team is split up into two teams and they play each other. Split Squad is when the team is split into two teams and they play other teams. Hope this helps.
