Staring out the window of the corner office on the 24th floor of the building where I work in Manhattan watching them fall. Awful. Just awful

I'd just walked into work about ten minutes after the first tower was hit.
A friend at work was watching CNN and told me about it.
For the rest of the day, he and I sat in front of the television, switching between the major networks, watching.
Very surreal.
Very sad.
Very unforgettable.

walking into my fifth grade classroom-i saw the first tower fall and the second tower get hit.
