My first instinct was to answer this question with a huge emphatic YEAH!!! But after thinking for a couple of minutes, I think I would opt for the shopping trip, difficult as it may be with a teeny weeny one. Sure it would be nice to have everything delivered without a care in the world (cost not being a factor). This way though, you get out of the house for a bit, but more importantly, the baby gets out of the house. Even if it's cool out (certainly not in a raging snow storm), baby needs fresh air. The other thing baby needs is to get used to leaving the house. Do you want a child that shrieks when it's time for the weekly grocery shopping? My husband and I both decided that unless it's so cold out that exposed skin will freeze in thirty seconds, our children would go out as much as possible. We now have two children (ages 1 and almost 3) that love to go out. They don't whine, cry, pout, or any of that good stuff when they're told that they're going shopping. The older one actually can hardly wait to go when we tell her. That's my point of view.

If the price was comparable, then YES!!!!! Like most people with babies, we are on a tight budget, so I couldn't afford to pay extra for delivery. But it is such a pain to get to the store with the baby, and I feel like I am constantly running out of diapers or wipes or formula, even if I don't need to get anything else from the store. And I never run out of them at the same time, so I am always going to the store. I would love to have it just delivered to me instead.

Consumable baby products---ie diapers and such?
I had a diaper service with my twins for the first three months. Very convenient for me. Weekly service. The price was about the same as disposable diapers.
I think it would be convenient in the first few weeks when the babies schedule varies. After that it is nice to get out of the house--even if it is to the store to get baby wipes on occasion.

We had dairy products delivered since our little ones were going through so much milk in baby bottles and cereal.

It was about 25 cents more a gallon, but saved lots of $ by cutting down on the frequent market trips.

If you have very small kids or you have a lot of them I would say yes, because going out can be difficult challenge. Who wants to take a screaming child out. Diapers and food can be ordered online.

You know I have to say no thanks to the delivery! I am a stay at home mother, and getting out to get the stuff I need gives me a little break with no children...and daddy some time to be home alone with them :) I think those little trips out help me to keep my sanity!

No because homemade products are very simple to make, more nutritious and most importantly more appealing to babies because they taste better.
