I don't really know anything about it, but it's a complicated issue.
You could look at this:http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Who_is_a_Jew%3F

There are more links on wikipedia and links to other sites at the bottom of the page. I hope this helps a bit. Good luck.

The only way to be considered Jewish at all is either if your mother is Jewish or if you convert through an orthodox rabbi.

If your father is Jewish but not your mother you are not even 1% Jewish.

Being "born" Jewish, according to the orthodox religious tradition, means having a Jewish mother. There therefore would be no "percentages" because your mother either is, or is not, Jewish.

Doesn't matter in that you are a human being. Blood is blood. The Nazis worked out a formula that I am sure you can research. But then again, it's the Nazis, not much science there.

Being Jewish is a religion, not a genetic trait. People convert to Judaism all the time...does their blood suddenly change somehow?

It doesn't matter, it is a religion. If you believe in it and practice it then you are jewish.

It has nothing to do with your blood, just your beliefs.
