i will follow, new years day, sunday bloody sunday, pride, bad, where the streets have no name, with or without you, i still havent found what im looking for, all i want it you, desire, sweetest thing, bmysterious ways, one, even better than the real thing, staring at the sun, beautiful day, elevation, walk on, stuck in a moment, vertigo, sometimes you cant make it on your own, city of blinding lights, all because of you.
this is a few hits off all albums starting with boy, to the current and also window in the skies is good too. if you need a greatest hits list, this would be mine, classic u2.

Personally, my favorite U2 song ("With or Without You") is also one of the most basic. Most of their earlier songs aren't that complicated, so they should be pretty easy to learn as well.

If you're trying to find easy songs by U@ to play on a guitar I would suggest I Will Follow, or One. Their older songs are very simple. Once you get down the unique style that the Edge uses (you need echo to copy it properly) you'll find most of their songs are very straight forward. The Edge uses a lot of two and three string combos that are simple.

"All I Want is You" is fairly simple to play and I'm not even very good at guitar. Also, you might try "40." "One" is my favorite U2 song, and it didn't seem all that difficult either.
