SOME's Behavioral Health Services encourage individuals with substance-abuse issues to seek help. The first step is the intake process, where clients meet with an addictions counselor for an initial assessment. Working together, the counselor and the client determine which program is best suited to their specific needs. SOME has two 90-day treatment facilities in West Virginia, Exodus House and Maya Angelou House, where many of our clients recover from addictions. Addictions counselors also meet with clients in recovery as part of ongoing support, and they help to coordinate Addiction Alumni events and other supportive programs as part of SOME's Continuum of Care.
