Back in the day [60's & 70's] I went back and forth across this fine nation a couple of times and yes it was FUN and back then it was not illegal ! Yes I was a hippy some say I still am. [ A rich one}

grew up hitching a ride, that was back in the 60's, makes my son's so furious when I pick them up now, but only when I'm by myself, never with my grandchild in the car or truck, Us hippies had fun, by the way

I had too my car was broke down and it was cold I had my daughter with me if we walked or stayed in the car probably would have froze to death but that was the only reason oh yell a sorry *** cop drove right by us
