Ok this question has been bothering me for a while. As you all know Irans nuclear program is advancing at a steady pace, but a lot of the western world keep trying to put up sanctions against it.

So, I am wondering why exactly is it that Iran is being denied nuclear weopens when every other significant nation has them. Why do you think the US and RUSSIA for example should have them and why shouldnt Iran have them.

Was there a bill or an act or such in place before any of this happened. Or is it just that if any nation wants them they have to do it aggresively ?

Iran doesn't desire to make nukes, so you shouldn't do anything...!
Iran just wants to achieve out atomic technology for produce electricity. Iran is one the NPT members and all of Iran's activity are under IAEA control.
Actually, all of this news about Iran are propaganda. US and some European countries and Israel have nukes and developing them continuously, but they don't allow other countries use peaceful atomic energy.
This is all the NPT members (including Iran) right to use atomic energy for peaceful purposes.

In the other side, US is the first country that produce and used nukes. Also Israel isn't the NPT member and they produce about 300 nuclear warhead without any control by IAEA.

You see US and Israel are invading other countries and occupying other lands, so who are real threats for world wide peace?
So, this won't wondering if all the countries try to develop some powerful weapons for saving their independence and protect their civilians against world bullies.

Well Iran has signed the nuclear non proliferation treaty,so they are not allowed to build nuclear weapons...They are allowed to a nuclear program as long as it is used in civilian purposes only...and nuclear weapons are not included here...
US and Russia, had already nukes when they signed the NNPT and they should disarm...but of course this who knows when it will happen...
So if Iran is building nukes, they break this treaty and then sanctions would come, not that respecting the treaty didn't bring any sanctions, and then US would have a really good reason to attack Iran...
