I mean if I send a notebook that costs 1500 $ in US, by delivery service, do I have to pay some duties that I would pay if I take the notebook through an airport control?

you will have to fill out declaration forms, stating what you are sending and the value,,,,, im not sure if they charge duties,,,, but they can let you know at the time of mailing,,,,,,,,, the packages do go threw customs, just like you would if you landed on a plane,,,,,,, not sure if they open and check everyone, but they can if they choose to

Ano, jestli napises na shipping document kolik stal.... Ja jsem posilala laptop a napsala jsem tam ze stal 100, nic nekontrolovali a nemuseli platit clo. Jinak clo se plati za balicky myslim od $200 nahoru, a pak to i kontroluji {a pozor, je to docela dost, ja jsem prvni balik rodicum napsala ze stal $300 a oni platili 2000,- Kc clo}. Jedine riziko je, pokud se balik ztrati, tak ti nikdo nic neda, ale mne se zatim nestalo, ze by neco nedoslo.
