Many people think he's the best player in the world, he's still young and his performance is going downhill.
What do you think?

You are correct. Of course he is good but I could mention quite a few who r better and have same potential if trained well.

I believe that most soccer players are very overrated. He is a good player, but you can say the same of dozens of other players out there.
World Cup: He didn't play well. Only Kaka was one to play for the entire team.
Last week game, he did good, but come on, Athletic is the #18 out of 20 in the Spanish league, not the best of teams to show off. And that's the problem that he does good against low teams, but not against good teams.
He is still young, and he has time to become a good player, but he has to play good almost all the games.

He's a great player, that is fact... But how great is him?

If you saw him playing for Brazil on last World Cup you gonna say that he isn't that good. He didn't make anything special on those games. But if you see him playing for Barcelona, you probably will say that he is a amazing player.

I think that on Barcelona the team plays for him... He recieves a lot of balls and is free to make almost everything he wants. On Brazil, he needs to play on just some part of the field, and can't do what he normally does for Barcelona, because all the others stars in the Brazilian team, like Kaka or Ronaldo, need the balls too... Also, on the World Cup, he was playing really behind his original position at Barcelona, almost behind mid-field!

So... He is a great player, when he plays at the right place... And because of that, he isn't overrated.

I sorta agree. I mean, he is overrated. But that's becuz he is pretty good. The thing is, he's performances lately haven't been all that great. He needs to come out from between all that fog, just like the rest of the great player who aren't showing what they're actually made of!

His performance isn't going downhill. Just because in the World Cup he didnt score doesnt mean his playing bad. You should see him play, only then will you see that he is the best player in the world

First of all if he's not the best then WHO is and second..... what's overrated, if overrated is being a winner of CL and La Liga season before this and to be on top of La Liga without Eto'o and Messi and second goalscorer of La Liga .... he scored more goals in this season than ever before (talking about his form going downhill)..... then he must be overrated!!!! Is Kaka overrated, he didn't do nothing this season....... because he didn't have striker to finish his passes, the same thing is with Ronaldinho, after Eto'o's injury he passed the ball in front of the goal to Gudhjohnsen million times and he couldn't score, he passed two balls to Eto'o in the last game and he scored one and assisted second..... all from his passes to him, he is a mildfilder, it wasn't his job to score goals it was Gudhjohnson's job to score, he didn't do his part not Ronaldinho!!! But even when he is not in form he is better than 95% of all player in the world, they lost against the best teams in the Europe (Chel$ki, Valencia, Sevilla and even Zaragoza), if you want to talk about overrated then 3 goals from Recreativo Huelva that Real with Cannavaro recieved would be the right one, don't forget that Barca is in top of La Liga and still in the CL without him at 100%, can you imagine what will happened now when Eto'o is back!!!! He will be only stronger and stronger every season... but please tell me why do YOU think that he is overrated???

btw: Watch this clip and tell me ONE player that can do half of this....

i think he is a amazing player, your right he does seem to be underperforming at the moment, but all players go though a stage when they lose form, give him a year or so, and he will be hitting the headline's again

He is best and his moves...There is no player who can make moves like him and he very creative, fantasctick shooter, passer and of 3 free-kicks 1 must be goal.

aren't they all?

he might be the best striker in the world right now, but he doesn't have legendary skills.

compare him to other brazilian legends -- where does he measure up?

i'd take ronaldo, pele, rivaldo ahead of ronaldinho
