I need to know 2 questions...

1). The Stable ion that atoms of Chlorine commonly form.

2). Name some real - world applications that your element is involved with.

I think for 2 there is pool chemicals, salt, bleaching products...but I'm not sure about #1 I searched the net and it said NACI which I know is salt but is salt the right answer? Could some one please explain...please

with electronic configuration 1s2 2s2 2p6 3s2 3p5

if you had an electron the ion has
the configuration 1s2 2s2 2p6 3s2 3p6 which is that of krypton (noble gas) very stable

2) application of chlorine desinfection javel Water
