because my husband and i like to sit here and discuss the questions on here and the possible answers, it has actually brought us from sitting in our own little worlds busy, to talking and learning, etc. anyone else had this awesome thing happen to you or something like it?

My husband could care less about yahoo Q and A however I do go and discuss some of the questions with him. He does that silly roling of the eye and says you need to get a job lol. He is j/k

Well, I've spent more "quality" time with my parents.... which is kind of strange because most of the time, we're seperated by thick lines, me and my father.
If I want to answer a question, but I don't know if I'm right, I simply turn to them... especially if it's medical.
Also, I've found that my parents (not entirely based on IQ, hahaha) have had more experiences than me.
Yahoo Answers does in fact bring people together. You question, yout answer, you learn.

My two sons (18 & 20) discuss the questions all the time. Sometimes they give me the answers for questions I don't know the answers for. It has really opened us up to some unusual conversations!

My husband isn't interested in any thing to do with the Internet, except having me look up an occasional thing or two....BUT, when he hears me laughing, then he wants to hear the answers, and we laugh together.....

Aaaaw....that is the sweetest thing....communication is the key in any relationship.......unfortunately my husband is on call 24/7 so the time that we do spend together is very intimate time.....keep cherishing that time because its so very precious.....kudos to you both.

I told my hubby about my laying an egg jokes and now he uses it against me, but it has served as a conversation starter so I guess it has done it for me too.
