Packard Bell is a proprietary system, only their version of the OS, will work on their machines.

Contact Packard Bell and they should be able to send you the disks, maybe for a small fee. I had to contact Compaq about some for a computer once, only cost me $20 though to have them shipped to me.

I wouldn't give packard bell 10 cents for a recovery CD.

Ask around, and hopefully one of your friends has a copy of win95 or 98 (or 2000).
