i know the doctor can pick up a heart beat on the doppler from 10-14ish weeks......my question is is that 10-14 weeks from conception date or from the first day of your last period?

First day of last period. The first day of your last period is what they base the gestation age on throughout pregnancy. They do not take into account the conception date at all for dating a pregnancy. So, when you have more tests later in your pregnancy just remember it is always dated from the first day of your last period.

It's 10-14 weeks from the first day of your last period. The first 2 weeks you aren't really pregnant, but it's counted as part as your 40 weeks.

10-14 weeks from the date of the first day of your last menstrual period. That is how they date all pregnancies.
