Since your probably going to get alot of answers in here and they will be confusing to you........

You can call a lawyer on the phone and ask.Most of them give out free 15 minute phone consultations too if you need advise.That's what I did.

No, but what they'll likely do is sue you and if they get a settlement (meaning they would win the lawsuit), they could eventually put a lien on any property you own which then they could sell to pay the debt or they could garnish your wages and even seize your bank account. That doesn't mean they will do these things, but those are thier options legally.

Hypothetically, you could go to jail. That would only happen, though, after a court orders you to pay, and you still don't pay. Then you 'could' be sent to jail for contempt of court.
