Its so sad that the world view of USA has gone down over the last few years. There was a time when the American dream and way of life was envied. Speaking as a non american I still have hope that the USA will take along hard look at its self and spend time looking at things from other peoples perspective. America can be great by firstly uniting its people by havng one national language. Racial division and mistrust occurs when people cant understand each other! The melting pot served as aunifying force moving away from this will only create dis cord,

Thank you so much for bringing that to our attention. We had no idea that was what was going on. Don't be so foolish all of your ignorant life. The government is in total control. Try to go against them and they will either charge you with treason or being a terrorist. We know what the problem is with this country. We no longer have the power to do anything about it. The government backs the weathly and the poor pay for the politicians salaries. This has been going on since the signing of the constitution and the declaration of independence. If you truely believe that all people are created equal and this is the land of the free, you will change your mind once you become a resident. This country is corrupt because of our government. Next time you have something to say, just keep it to yourself. You will look a lot more intelligent that way. Thank you.

Each of us has a vote. We need to pay attention to who is doing what to whom and support those candidates we believe follow our own way of thinking. To not participate is asking for totalitarianism by the elite. Once taken freedom doesn't return.

Intellegent Americans see themselves as too busy, or don't like politics because it is dirty, they come up with all manner of excuses but those excuses will be useless when we stand and sig heil some dictator who became such because people didn't pay attention, care, or challenge our leaders. Democracy takes work.

History has shown time and again that when the nation goes too far radical in either direction there are problems. Therefore, I would say we need to govern from the center.

We should go Constitutional conservative/libertarian/democrat.
But who listens to me?

Will Rogers said, "I only know what I read in the papers."

The majority of Americans (as well as every other nationality) are that way. They don't look deeper into the events shaping their lives than what they're fed over the air waves.

The only people fleecing and victomizing anyone is the government. Shrink government and encourage people to mind their own business.

What do you think "intelligent Americans" are going to do? Storm the Bastille?
