he ended it saying he couldnt do it anymore, he blames me for being too needy, (I rarely saw him, maybe once a month) he said he isnt the kind of man that has affairs, (2 years!!!!) and now he says lets be friends, I have dated other men during this time and I dont stalk him, where does he get off telling me this? we both knew it was wrong in the first place!! and when he needed someone to talk to

It seem that he have affair with you just for the sake of sex, probably now he found that the "troubles" is not worth for having sex with you anymore.

He realized he was doing wrong and is making himself accountable for it. You should work on doing the same thing. You can't be proud of what you are doing by messing around with married men. Turn your life around as well and live it as something you can be proud of.

It was wrong on both of your parts. Does it really matter who's term it ends under as long as its ended? There is no right in this situation so who ever ended it, it was good.
