I am going to breastfeed and was needing to know if I have to have a nursin bra. Anyone else do fine without one or should you use one? How much are they like at Wal-Mart?

you don't HAVE to have a nursing bra, but from experience, i rather them than regular ones. if you are using a regular one it's not always comfortable and you always have to readjust the bra when you are done nursing. the nursing bras at walmart are the ones that i used and i think they were between $10-$12 a piece. for the most part i was very happy with them too! they have different styles to choose from. i do know they have some at target too but they do cost slightly more and i had a hard time finding my size there....(i am larger chested). good luck to you!

Absolutly get a nursing bra! If you don't use a bra your boobs will sag to your toes and your back will hurt. They provide support where you need it, especially when you're engorged. Nursing bras unhook in the front one breast a time, without having to remove the bra altogether. They are so conveniant! Could you imagine having to remove your shirt and bra everytime you needed to breast feed? Target has the best nursing bras. They're around $16. For the same price they also have nursing shirts. They look just like a tanktop, no one knows the difference, but have built in support and unhook at each shoulder. I've been breastfeeding for six months and couldn't live without a nursing bra and my nursing shirts!

You will need a nursing bra. They have a snap or hook above each breast allowing the baby access with just a simple unsnap on one side. Without a nursing bra, you'd have to take off the entire bra or lift it above or below the breast. The side your not nursing from will probably leak some milk while you're nursing and the bra keeps the nursing pad in place, so you don't end up wet.

I haven't see the prices of nursing bras at Walmart. They have some at Target for around $30 http://www.target.com/gp/browse.html?ie=UTF8&node=15697881

I used regular bras with my second, nursing bras with my first. I would have preferred the nursing bras- they are very convenient. But I could not find any that offered the support I needed, and they all fell apart so quickly, and they are gosh darn expensive. If you plan on nursing in public, you need to get a nursing bra. Otherwise, just do the old strap-thru-the-arm-hole trick.

I tried to use a nursing bra. I personally hated it. However, my sister loved them. So it depends on you.
I think it was about $15.00 at Wal-Mart. You will probably want to get three of them if you decide you like them.

Nursing bras are convenient. Try one...Walmart is an inexpensive place to get one. My breasts were larger, and it was too difficult to try and get my bra on and off to feed my baby...especially in public.

I bought one, but ended up not using it. It was much easier to lift my bra up and feed my baby.

Can't remember anything about the cost but my wife found them helpful if you have to tote the youngster around all day. She was a teacher. :-)=
