a friend... riiiiiiight...

Just so you know... these sock fishes are very elusive. Internets can be used to catch them, but you must be very knowledgeable in the art of Tae Kwon Do for it to work properly.

that and you must get written consent from Al Gore, creator of the internet.

this "friend"... has he tried a spool of yarn as bait? That may hinder the need for the internets to catch sock fish. It works for me, no?

Only on Thursdays, and when there's a full moon. Try covering your keyboard with peanut butter, it's a sock-fish's favorite bait

Sockfish? I thought nobody else had heard of them! Tell your "friend" it is possible but very difficult; once they're in the internets, they have cybersocks, reproduce and then are able to form themselves into foot shapes and kick their way out. Good luck - to your "friend", I mean.

Only on new and full moons. And every 3rd Friday of the month. As always static cling makes the best bait, and matches repel eachother.

I see no reason why you couldn't but sometimes your sock fish will be "404 fish not found".
