where can I find money to open a restaurant/night club?

I need help I dont have very good credit but will like to open up a business. How can I do that. What can I do. Please help me. I want to open the business in Connecticut

You may try talking to a bunch of groups where local businessmen and bankers hang out.

Rotary Club, Country Club, go to a bank and talk to them about private equity.
