There seems to be a con going on in society that states that if you aren't for all races then you must be racist, therefore you are lesser than someone who is SO pure that they are for all races and thus NOT racist. That is BS, and seems to be an idea that is minority based, in my opinion, because who do you see playing the "you're a racist" card? Minorities.
My question is, why is it that I should feel bad because I would rather see one of my own excel than another? Are there black and asian families out there crying because a white kid didn't make it into a college or get that good position at a company? No. The blacks are mad because they aren't above the whites, Racism. The asians are mad because they aren't above the whites, racism. The blacks are mad because more of them live in the ghetto than whites, racism. Anytime you take race into consideration with any ill feeling you have about whatever, you're expressing racism. I'm not anymore racist than you.

For the ignorant ones calling me racist and saying I'm superficially generalizing(what?), reread the question. Superficially generalizing? Are you serious? Do I need to bring up statistics and case studies to get your liberally *** in check with what I'm asking? You sound like one of the jerks I'm talking about. So I'll ask YOU, Mr. Superficially Generalizing! Why should I feel bad? I should be ashamed? Why??

So called anti racism is the new hate and its worse than anything the third reich could have dreamed up. Right now there is a movie with Samuel L. Jackson that has Christina Ricci with her arms chained up behind her a he yells the most dehumanizing vile things at her. I'm sure that the hate mongers will rally around it saying so what you whites deserve it. There is almost no white here in America now that hasn't been painted as a racist. I taught art to people of all races for free and I was accused of being a racist, no chance to debate it, no discussion, just devoured by the hate. Above me is someone who has not presented a single fact, just called you a racist. He broke the rules and I'm sure nobody will report it - we respect his opinion and right to break the rules. All there is now is vengeful conclusion jumping and spiteful nonsense in the guise of so called correctness - And It Hurts Us All.

Maybe minorities are sick of all the BS that they take. And why would you want to see one of your own excel over another.Maybe a minority derserved whatever the reward more then the white and they worked harder to earn. The blacks aren't mad because they want to be above the white, they're mad because they are not equal to the whites, same as everyone else. And no one ever has been above them and looks as if things will never change. This month is black history month, what it's all about is celebrating blacks, de-segragation, and proud of being a minority. What it's about is that past that runs in our blood.White people tried to tell the blacks they weren't good enough to learn, eat where they did, sleep where they did, live the way they did.One race tried to hold another down keep them from going anywhere.White people did the same thing to the native americans.Brushed them aside from what was theirs and made them slaves and kept them down too, that's why Novemember is native American month.Where's white month? And white people think they rule this world.Think they control everything.my uncle, an innocent man was arrested by ehite cops after the evidence proved it wasn't him and another man confessed to it, a white man.But they wouldn't send him to prison for years. They came in our house and pinned him to the floor knowing they were taking an innocent man, you know why?because they can, they can and they'll get away with it.When on trial he stood before a white judge and jury, all white, i felt like it was snowing. And he was found guilty, and it's not fair.White people are no better than anyone else and they need to figur that out.Another thing i figured out justice doesn't mean that the guilty man is convicted and punished, it only means someone is going to do time for it.

I understand what you are saying. I don't agree with all of it but i understand. The one thing that bothers me about your question is where you ask if it is wrong for you to want your race to succeed over all other. As the human race we as a whole need to succeed and learn to live with and tollerate each other, other wise we will all end up killing each other.
As for minoity races thinking that they are below us white people: I understand how you can think that, but do they? I don't think they all do. In my life, the only people that I have met that have "pulled the race card" are the uneducated ones. they are the people that would rather blame the system and oppression rather the try to better them selves and rise above the hate and raceism. They would rather blame someone for their failure rather then take responsibility for what they haven't done. However, that doesn't just pretain to the minorites. White people do it too. It, I think, is more acceptable (in a way).
At one point I thought almost the same way that you do now. A while ago i decided that: I am a racist. We are all racist in a way. I would never commit a hate crime, and I would never bad mouth one race in a way that would make me look like I think the white race is the best ( don't feel that way, and would never want any one thinking that) But, I accepted that fact that everyone in entitled to their opinion. I also accepted that fact that steriotyping is a true thing, and it is at times hard to look beyond them. But once you do, you will see that we are all the same, we are all out there trying to succeed, raise out kids, feed ourselves, keep a roof over our head, ect... Some people just go about it in different ways.
To sum this up, I understand, but I think you are thinking a little narrow Mindedly. Sometime, just sit and think about this topic. I don't think you are raceist, I think you just haven't thought of all the different possibilities.
good luck

you're only a racist to those that are offended, whereas they could tell the same joke only switch a few things around and it would be fine for them...its like you're racist if you use the "n-word", but if someone was to call a white person a honkey, itd be perfectly fine and noone would care...but its not like that because there will always be ignornant people that get mad at the slightest thing. racism has always been around and its not gonna get any better. so the best thing to do is not dwell on it.

When you superficially generalize people and base their supposed feelings and ideals then your being not only a biggot but also a racist. No one's sayin that you shouldn't sympathize with your group.
There you go again...being ignorant like you made yourself out to be in the first place this time 10 times worse. Why base your beleifs and feelings on statistics don't you have a life? If so then you should pull your feelings from the minorities as you lilke to call them from the ones in your own life find out for yourself...that's what i mean when i say generalizing because everybody's not like that. And while you at it why don't pull those reports and add them to your lil' dialogue when you ask dumb questions at least you'd be backing up your evidence to prove your half-a**ed theory...
