Most people today who talk about a 'baby nurse' are not actually talking about a 'baby nurse' which is a LPN or RN.

Most people today who have a "baby nurse" actually have a post partum doula. And no insurence does not pay for a PP doula.

You can locate a doula in your area at http://www.dona.org/

a baby nurse is an experienced trained infant/newborn specialist who comes into your home in the first weeks of an infants life to assist mother and father with the day to day care of their newborn. Bay nurses often work 24 hours day which means they are on call every day all day. I hope i answered your question. This is real i researched it
