i have depression, and i cut myself
whenever my gf and i fight, i get sad, and i'd cut myself
at first my gf would care about my self-mutilation, now she doesn't even care, if i cut myself or try to committ suicide, she just walks out
do you guys think i shoudl break up with her? i love her, but i think she is making my depression worse. to have the person you love the most to abandon you when you need them is the worst feeling in the world.

she said she is sick of it

well maybe if you stop cutting yourself number one. Nuber two if you have problims talk about it i mean its easy. I think that she is sick of seeing you do that to yourself and she probily feels like well if he's not happy then she wont be happy. just smile it don't hurt as bad as cuting your self..

I can immagine that she is! Have you thought about seeking professional help? I would stick by your side, but after a while of not seeing you try to make some effort to get help.... I wouldnt leave but I'd back away. You said above that she is making your depression worse? If so, then yeah you should leave her. I'm a firm advocate of riding yourself of any situation, person, atmosphere, etc that brings you down rather than up. I suggest you should take matters in your hand and seek professional help

I think you should get help dealing with the depression issues......you are the "captain of your own ship" so to speak......stop relying on your gf to make you feel better and learn how to deal with the issues at hand.......every couple fights now and then....I don't think she is trying to abandon you by leaving when you cut yourself......probably more trying to make you see how your actions are destroying your relationship.......that is a serious problem...that can be helped if YOU choose to seek the help needed.......the ball is in your court to change.......are you going to stand and stare at it or pick it up...take action or remain passive ?.....
