It is good versus evil people. Good being the people who realize that neither party cares for the people and evil, being the people foolish enough to support the two party system.

LOOK at where we are as a nation? Do you think the Democrats are going to FIX it? That is UTTERLY RIDICULOUS to even contemplate.

Folks, it is good versus evil. Vote third party or vote for MORE DEATH.

So, show your ignorance and tell me how wrong I am.

I am kinda with you...I see NO REAL difference between the GOP and the DEMS with the exception of the base they use to get the votes. Feinstein and Boxer have profited from this war as much as ANY GOP'er. However, they sure pander to the anti-war lobby.

I am basically with you, neither party has the concern of the bulk of Americans in their best interest.

I veer from you in the vote for more death thing...most likely because you did not explain your point. Your statement makes you almost sound "conspiracy theorist"...and I can't buy that.

But, it is kind of "good v. evil". You know what H. Clinton will spend to run for president? According to recent historical figures and the rate cost increases...she will spend about 100 million. How could she REALLY help the poor with that much money, IF that was what she really cared about...like she says. She could give 5000 families 20K each....

Its all HOGWASH.

To say "good v. evil" is simplistic at best. People on both sides of the aisle believe what they do, and I feel that there are some conservatives out there that believe what they do with 100% sincerity. I do agree with you in that I think both of the major parties are primarily looking out for their OWN self interests (how can I get elected), and unfortunately it's become a choice of voting for the lesser evil. Some of the 3rd party candidates have been extremely attractive to me. I really would like to see PUBLIC FINANCING of elections, there is TOO much money in Washington..

Mr. Avatard (love the screen name!): No, Con v. Lib is not our divide unless you believe all the hatemongering the conservative Christians do. Most people identify themselves as conservative and behave like progressives, oddly enough. We all want the same things: safe streets, good schools, a clean environment, decent medical care, reasonable pay for our work.

Dividing us into even MORE mutually exclusive affiliations isn't going to help.

Conservatism and Liberalism are two ideologies. Rather than throwing out a couple of insults, study these ideologies, and you'll see how they continue to evolve. Liberalism changed the world. But trust me, it is not the Liberalism you see practiced by the majority of the New Left in this country.

The c on/lib arguments give people hope and a gang they can feel like they belong too.It is a great marketing tool for talk radio and news hosts. There is much more money in dividing people into groups than keeping them together.

It doesn't matter what party you vote for, there is good and evil spread throughout all political parties. You should vote for a candidate who has integrity, and whose belief system most resembles your own.

I hope that by "third party" you don't mean Libertarian. They're worse than the Reps or Dems. I think we should have 4, 5 or even 6 parties.
