There is a good chance that it could halm your unborn baby so if you have food poisoning you had better phone your midwife imediatly. Try not to worry till then but take her advice or see your GP

No, not unless you got listeria. Most types of food poisoning won't harm your baby, but if you do get food poisoning when pregnant you run the risk of getting dehydrated which would be bad for your baby as you start to absord amniotic fluid. It's harder to not get dehydrated when you are pregnant because you can't take anything to stop the diahhorea.
I had a stomach bug a few weeks ago and went to the doctor and she told me that bacterial infections generally don't bother unborn babies.

In the meantime take Dioralyte (available from Boots).
I had food poisoning when I was pregnant and I was OK. A friend of mine had a more serious form of food poisoning and had a miscarriage.

I dont know if it would kill him/her but it certainly cant be good for him/her. See your doctor immediately if you have food poisoning.

it culd. BUT baby's r resiliant lil buggers n will happily drain any goodness outa u so they stay fine n u feel crap. i had food posioning in november but my baby right now is happily kicking he sh*t out of my bladder n playing silly beggers with my belly button!!
