I'd be looking for another job...Odds are this person will be out of business shortly and no one will be paid anyway. Ask all of your co-workers to sit down with him and demand an answer..

As far as a strike goes...if you aren't backed by a union, he will likely fire those who go on strike. If you decide to go for an attorney, try to get everyone on board to share the cost.

Form a strike! If you haven't gotten paid yet.....then your probably aren't going to get paid for those hours that you have worked and waited for your check! It's unprofessional of the owner and you'll only be doing what is right! Let them know that you don't work for free and that your time is valuable! Once you do get paid look over your check stub very carefully.....because it seems to me that the owner and or the company is pretty shady. Good luck and I hope you get your hard earning money!
If you can make sure you ask the company or the owner to compensate you and your co-workers for the time that it took for them to pay you. They don't pay your bills and don't know what your financial status is. You depend on them to pay you on time to make your living as much as they depend on you to work to keep their company up and running. Give them a taste of their own medicine....don't work, form a strike, and give them the inconvenience that they gave you by not paying you on time. If I were you I would contact the media!

You can get fired, but you don't want to work for free. Form a strike so the owner can't run his business without paying all of his workers, that always works.

Seek assistance urgently from a union or a citizen's advice office. or try to find a lawyer. Your employer is in breach of contract.
