Yes. I've had very cystic breasts since age 14. I recently had a breast reduction and one of the very first things I asked my surgeon to do was remove 3 very painful, but small, cysts near my nipple in my right breast. I'm so glad I did. My left breast had little or no cysts but my right was loaded. If the cysts are large enough they can aspirate (drain) them, but if they aren't you're stuck with painful boobs.

Yes, I've had it since I was 20, over 12 years. Caffeine causes it to be worst. It can be in one or both breast. Just make sure to have your regular check ups, do monthy exams and ask your doctor about any, ANY changes. No matter how small they may seem. I have to have a mammogram done now about every two years.
