Start with my daily commute: I walk 1 mile to the metro station, and take the metro into work. I don't use my car most weekdays at all. When we do buy a car, we select one with really good fuel effeciency. We only use energy saver light bulbs, and we keep our heat at 70, wearing sweaters at home to fight the chill. I support green energy, and would be willing to pay more for it, if it were available in my area. I used to fundraise for a large environmental group, as well... so you could say I contributed daily with my professional skills. HTH.

I drive a 4 banger,, I turn off the lights when I leave.. and when it's available and I can afford it I'll go with an alternative fuel car.. I also support the advancement of alternative fuels in all walks of life and am more likely to vote for a candidate that also supports that.
I also use many recycled products and shy away from using plastic bags when I can just carry my stuff... unplug the tv when not in use (yup, they burn power.. even when off).. there are lots of little things we can all do.. and though one person doesn't make much of a difference.. if we all did it it would make a huge difference.

I think we all should be vegetarians and make farm animals illegal. And have mandatory child limits, one per family. Free abortions for all.
Animal (and people) farts are by far the greatest contributer to green house gasses. Makes a Hummer look like an oxygen mask.
I'm kidding by the way, but I can see radical eco-terrorist Liberals pushing the above. I can easily see it.

Opposing the Republican pro-oil agenda. Riding a bicycle. We only have one small car in our family and my husband takes the train to work. And, we have a solar electric house. Oh, and I don't buy alot of things because for one, I don't need alot to be happy. And, second, it takes more energy to make them. In other words, I try to live within my means, and I'm not materialistic.

Fair question! :-)
For me, I try to do my part by recycling my glass, newspaper, tin cans, plastic bottles, etc
In addition, I drive a hybrid (toyota prius), I actually chose it for looks, great fuel economy, plus I love how quiet it is!
When I'm home I try to conserve energy by doing little things like closing my windows when its cold outside, turning off a light when I leave the room, cutting off the running water when I'm brushing my teeth.
Its little stuff, but I think if we all contribute, we can make a BIG difference.

I don't own an SUV. I take public transportation or carpool whenever practical. I use non-aerosol products. Little things, but I do what I can.

recycle, car pool, own a small car, vote for candidates who support the research, teach non believers, support bans on CFCs, encourage awareness of our role in pollution, read the science, suport responsible farming and small family farms, I guess that's it!

Converting to more energy efficient vehicles, aplliances etc. However I am a fiscal conservative, so these options appeal to my fiscal conservatism. Libs such as neocons.... they are just libbies.
