i am amased looking at this ipod video and have a lot of free time in the bus every day so thinking of buying it.

I have the black 30GB iPod Video. It's great. I have 733 songs on it right now with 4 full length movies on it and still have 21.41GB free. The screen is crystal clear for pictures and movies, and the audio quality is excellent. I think the 30GB is a good capacity for me, but it depends on how much you have to put on it as to whether you should get the 30GB or 80GB.

No. It is never worth buying a media player which is encumbered by digital rights management. Your investment today can literally be made into a useless box of junk tomorrow by a few clicks at the server. Not to mention DRM enabled players also require you to install software which tells the server about your media choices and hard drive contents.

Don't buy an apple, buy a Zen.
1st of all, relatively speaking it's cheaper.
2nd of all, it's just as practical.
And 3rd of all, it doesn't come with all those crappy bundled in media formats, and anti-piracy software.
