Jennifer Hudson, hated the jacket...and the dress had pockets WTF?

Ellen Degeneres was one. That weird suit and all? Her outfits got more upscale as the show went on though. Bad velvet suit in the beginning.
Nicole Kidman, the dress was very nice...except for that weird thing on her shoulder. She could have blown her nose in that and nobody would have noticed.
On the red carpet Jennifer Hudson wore that really funky silver alien short shawl thing over her dress. Don't get me wrong, I was rooting for her, but that was not flattering for her shape. I'm glad she took it off for the award.
And that blonde chick in the seafoam green dress with a shoulder froof thing. Kate Winslet? Cate Blanchett? Whomever. The dress was fugly.
A lot of the men's dress was good, but nobody straightened bowties before accepting, they were all askew. I think they had too much champagne before hand.
That said, my favorite was Helen Mirren's dress...very elegant.

Jennifer Hudson: The gold-lame shrug and the 80's side-ponytail,all she needed was a solid-gold dancer matching scrunchie...fugliness incarnate!
Nicole Kidman: The bow...WHY? Just because you CAN doesn't mean you SHOULD. She's a red-carpet vet, she should know waaay better by now.
Other DIS-honorable mentions: Meryl Streep: a "consummate" thespian must still get dressed properly, take a clue from Helen Mirren who aced it; and Beyonce: Lately, she can't dress for sh*t(BTW: I think that's the dress that "chefgrille" was referring to-even though, Beyone isn't blonde right now...but she sure was fugly)

i do no longer think of anybody became certainly poor this year. Kirstin Dunst could have carried out extra effective i think of. i became additionally no longer inspired with the huge christmas bow that became choking Nicole Kidman. i visit grant her some slack nonetheless, she has had some tough bumps recently. i did no longer like Gweneth Paltrow's gown the two..... ok so perhaps i did no longer like the clothing extra suitable than i presumed. None of them have been incredibly horrid nonetheless. Jada Pinkett gets my vote for ultimate dressed. Edit.... now that i think of of it, as much as i admire her, Meryl Streep ought to have stayed domicile.
