alonso has shown he is better than shumi 2 years in a row my money is on him this year just hope his mclaren is up to it ,,,,

No I don't, although I am not a schumi fan, he is not an Idiot, look at the money he has made. He also new when to leave and not stick around, I think Alonso switching teams has put an end to his run as champion. It is going to be along time until someone comes along to challenge schumi's records.

First, Schumi is not an idiot, he's a legend along side with Prost and Senna.
Second, Alonso will get better now that his car (McLaren) is fast but his teammate (Lewis) will give him "a taste of his on medicine" or "a run for his money "if the their team allow him to compete with Alonso for the championship. Also, the Ferrari's are starting to find their form so dont count them out yet.

You might want to rephrase your question. There ARE some Schumi fans out there, you know.
Alonso is still young, he can race for another 10 years if he want to, and if he plays his cards wisely and hop from a winning team to another over the next decade, I'm sure he can add to his tally of 2 WDCs.
Is he better than Schumi? Ask that question in 10 years time.....

Poor idiot? Compared to whom? You? When was the last time you won a Formula 1 race?
While it is possible (but not likely) that Alonso will have a more successful career than Schumacher, Michael won the championship seven times (almost eight, but he blew that engine at Suzuka), won 91 races, was the first billionaire athlete, and revitalized Formula 1. Alonso is a talented driver, but he is no Schumi.
