like the websites they visited or their email password? and if that's true, how can the client protect himself?

I mean what if I asked a question on yahoo answer, can he know this question, or just the URL of Yahoo answers is what appears to him??

Yes, he/she can know everything if they want, in theory. It helps to clear your browsing history and do a disc cleanup after every use, but if the administrator is really good with computers they could find out even after that.

If your talking about your computer at work... Yes, the adminstrator knows all the sites you go to. Even if you delete your cookies etc... they can still find out. They can't find out there e-mail passwords though, there incrypted. and as far as web pages that require passwords, they expire! If you want a means of protection, make sure all your Norton Anti-virus is up to date and that regular virus updates are downloaded every so often. Also make sure your firewall is on. Firewall protects your computer from getting hacked into....

in the end do not store any personal information on your pc... SS numbers, address, phone number etc... If you need to once again just make sure your Virus protection is up to date and you'll be ok....

undergo in strategies. this is the LAN administrator's community and he's protecting it from you. in the experience that your afraid somebody can see the place your going or what your doing you may desire to easily no longer do it. I easily have sniffers on my LAN that see site visitors while it leaves any isers laptop so there is not any hiding that.

They don't know the passwords, however, they may have access to the email messages on the mail server. If you want a message to be private, use encryption.

i don't know...have you been doing something bad? i think they can see your visited websites, but passwords are restricted.
