i have been stung by scorpions about ten times
the big black ones give unbelievable pain for about ten minutes ,like ten bee stings into one ,then it is over apart from some numb ness
the yellow and transparent ones are far more dangerous
got stung in the finger and the numbness crept up my arm and then started to paralyze my throat i was pretty worried by the time i got to hospital ,they put me on drips ,and injection and one day later i was OK
all the local people say that if you get stung eat the scorpion that stings you and you will cure your self
now i have an injection ready in my first aid kit especially for scorpion stings
best is to go to hospital to get a neutralizing injection

put lemon jiuce on the sting as a first aid measure ,and make it bleed
drink lots of water or milk .if you get stung high up it can paralize your throat for a while making drinking very difficult ,so do this first and drink lots

Run cold water over it and make sure the stinger didn't break off. Then put ice on it. If wherever you got stung starts to swell really bad, or it feels numb, you need to seek medical attention. If it's red and just stings, but doesn't get numb or swell bad, your probably ok. Been stung down here in Texas more than once, just hurts like a batstard. But if you have a severe alllergic reaction it can be bad.

I heard scorpion bites are lethal to the elderly and infants due to a weakened immune system. Either way you need to go to the doctor right away for some antivenin.
