Get a lawyer now, get a detective and find out what all he is hiding. You will probably have to pay him for half the house. He is probably hiding assets. Fight !!!!!!!!!!!! If you don't know one will stand up for you . I know been there. My ex took all the money out of the bank and left with my sister . He thought he was going to get a whole lot more he didn't. I finally stood up after 37 years. STAND UP and you will never regret it. Don't let him run over you anymore. Find out your rights and get everything you can. If you don't you will regret it. Move on one day at time it is hard but you will be glad.in the end. Good Luck and God Bless.

My husband lost his home to his ex-wife even though she was the one who left him and the only legal way to get his name off of it is for you to refinance the home. He has gone before the judge and this is the only way it can happen. I am so sorry that this has happened to you. Some people should not answer questions on here if they are going to be nasty like the first answer from Josh.

You'll have to file for divorce,if the house is paid for (or not) if he does not sign it over to you,you will have to sell it and split the equity. Depending on what state you live in you can make him pay alimony and take him to court for half the assets.

I have tried to do this but my current loan company says I have to refinance it in my own name kinda hard when you have no job and your only income is what he gives you. I think they are trying to cheat me out of the years that has been paid. There has to be some law to protect women after husbands decide to tramp off.
