I'd like to know what happened to my favourite series. whatever happened to jack, sawyer, kate & john. i got stuck to season 2 coz the 3rd one is not yet in the market. and they're not showing it in cable channels of this country i'm in. please tell me even just a short one.

The short version.....jack, kate and sawyer were cptured by the others. It turns out the leader of the others (Ben, the guy they had in captivity in the hatch) is in need of spinal surgery. Jack agrees to the surgery, but during the operation cuts something that will cause him to die in an hour unless they let Kate and Sawyer go. They agree and during the escape the blond other that has been talking to the captive jack kills one of the others in order that Kate/Sawyer may go free. (Did I mention that Kate and Sawyer do the dirty?). She is put on trial. Bens surgery, though successful has an infection. Jack agrees to care for Ben as long as the blond girl is not tried. Kate and Sawyer are still making their way back to camp and are fighting over the fact that Kate wants to go back and save Jack.
Meanwhile back at the beach: Desmond (the guy stuck int he hatch all those years) is a precog (he can see the future now and then -- not all the time). He saves clair for the second time but it turns out he hasnt been saving clair, he has been saving charlie who he says would have died had he helped clair. He then tells charlie that he is going to die. He will try to save him but at the end of the day, death always gets its way eventually.
